Our CEO, Rajat Khurana was enjoying a relaxed dinner with a group of retired engineers when someone mentioned about the wife of one the retired railway engineers.

Mrs Ahuja was a housewife all her life and after the retirement of her husband from Indian Railways and with her own kids well settled, she was beginning to enjoy some free time in life.

She had bumped into a 50 year old run down Orphanage and was keen to do something for the kids, in whose eyes she saw no hope.
She was ready to put her time and energy and we decided to support her effort.

With she taking the role of the Director of the Organization and us committing to support her, started a simple process of turning around a 50 yr old Orphanage for young girls.

Less than 2 yrs later, it is a turned around place.

The kids have uniforms and are going to school,
They are provided with 3 meals a day,
They have comfortable beds to sleep, Hot water via Solar Water Heaters,
They have shoes they can play in,
They have the support from us, local organizations and local families.

And the biggest thing - They have dreams to become teachers, doctors, engineers and even Tennis Players

The old structure is beginning to look strong and smells of fresh paint again. Some new structures have been added, including an Assembly Hall and new bathrooms.

The local community is providing financial and moral support way beyond expectations.
What started as a tough job for Mrs Ahuja to rejuvenate an old organization turned out to be way easier than ever imagined.

With 50 lives changed forever, this is a project we will cherish for a long time.
